CarbonLite was born out of research that began nearly two years before the company was incorporated.
At IIT Tirupati, Dr. Shihabudheen M. Maliyekkal and Dr. A. V. Rahul, with expertise in material science and concrete technology respectively, were developing advanced nano-modified high-performance concrete systems alongside their PhD students, Ms. Revathy Sunil and Mr. Abins Aziz. Over years of testing and refinement, what started as academic research evolved into practical, scalable solutions with clear real-world applications.
The team recognised that these technologies had the potential to address genuine infrastructure challenges, not just as publications or patents, but as deployable solutions in the field. That belief became the foundation of CarbonLite.
As the vision grew, so did the team. Ms. Anna Tomy and Mr. Naveen Suresh were brought on board, bringing in complementary strengths across structural design and execution. Together, the founding team spans material science, concrete technology, structural engineering, and project delivery.
CarbonLite Infrastructure Solutions Private Limited was incorporated on December 16, 2025. Today, the company has grown into a multidisciplinary team, working across research, engineering, design, and execution with a shared focus on building infrastructure that is durable, high-performance, and sustainable.
